8th grade science students over at West Middle had some visitors recently learn about how a common type of medication works! Binghamton University biomedical engineering graduate students created mixtures for extended and rapid-release medications that were tested on red Skittles.
Students were able to observe how different variations of ingredients resulted in very different release times based on physical and chemical changes taking place #BPatriotProud

Students at EMS are competing in the Broome-Tioga BOCES Kids CAN Build competition! They completed their lighthouse made of canned goods, with all the food to be donated to CHOW after the competition is done.
