🏀 | The NCAA basketball tournaments haven't started yet, but March Madness is already underway at Binghamton High School! PE students during class on Monday and Tuesday competed in free throw, three-point shot, and half-court shot competitions (they also got treated to a popcorn machine in the gym too!). Below are the winners from the festivities:
Free Throw Contest: Liam Kozel, 14 shots made in 30 seconds
Three-Point Contest: Sam Liags, 13 shots made in 30 seconds
Half-Court Shot Contest: Brayden Walker, made two out of three shots

☀️ | Before the eclipse a few weeks from now, our students are learning all about it! Educators from KOPERNIK Observatory & Science Center stopped by Franklin today and will stop by the other elementary schools this month to teach our students what the eclipse is and how they can safely view it! #BPatriotProud

NOTE: Chicago: Teen Edition is a modified version of the famous musical Chicago. The teen edition removes adult language and overtly sexual references, as well as the songs “Class” and “A Bit of Good”. The musical still may not be suitable for young children, so parents should exercise their judgment when bringing children to the show.

🏀 | The boys basketball team season has come to an end after a narrow 53-52 loss against Peekskill in the state tournament. A massive congratulations to our Section IV champs on an amazing season... we're #BPatriotProud of you!!!

🦉 | Horace Mann students had the opportunity to dissect owl pellets as part of Cornell Cooperative Extension-Broome County's RootED Afterschool program. This interactive lesson with Mr. Cam & Ms. Kaelie explored predator and prey dynamics; the students inspected what was inside the pellets and used a key to identify and describe their findings! #BPatriotProud
