She kept very busy during her time at BHS: she was the founder of Advocates for Educational Equality, and was a member of Student Government, National Honor Society, Sisterz 4 Sisters, Orchestra, Band, and Tri-M Music Honor Society. 😮 THROWBACK THURSDAY | You've just traveled back in time 115 years to see the predecessor to Thomas Jefferson Elementary! The Helen Street School stood right next door to the location of the current building. The old school was abandoned in 1916; Thomas Jefferson was formerly dedicated in May of 1917. #BPatriotProud

4️⃣ | Graduating at Number 4 in the Class of 2026 is Eva DiNunzio Welch! In addition to her tremendous success in the classroom, Eva is also a decorated athlete outside of it. She is a two-time Section IV champion in indoor track & this spring became the first girls runner in school history to win three individual track & field Sectional titles! Eva plans to run at Division I Lehigh University in the fall where she will study chemical engineering. She encourages future BHS students to get involved in as many activities at school as possible. At BHS, she was the Class of 2026 Secretary, and participated in Math Honor Society, Mathletes, Mock Trial, National Honor Society, Science Honor Society, Science Olympiad, Tri-M Music Honor Society, and was captain of the Girls Varsity Tennis team. The students save 41 pounds of crayons; instead of going to the landfill they'll be recycled into new crayons which will be donated to children in hospitals across the country.
