🎓 TOP 2️⃣5️⃣ OF 2025 | Your valedictorian of the Class of 2025 is Colin McGovern! During his time at BHS, Colin was an active member of Mathletes, French Club, and Steel Drum Band. After receiving his diploma, he'll be heading out to the west coast to double major in Math and French at Stanford University.
Colin's advice to incoming freshmen to use high school as an opportunity to explore their interests through academics and extracurriculars.

🎓 TOP 2️⃣5️⃣ OF 2025 | Your salutatorian of the Class of 2025 is Robert Somers! You've likely seen Robert at plenty of the vocal concerts and plays/musicals, but when he's not lighting up the stage in Helen Foley Theatre, he volunteers for Broome County Public Library and Phelps Mansion Museum, as well as being a mentor in the Mentor Program.
After graduation, he'll be attending the Rochester Institute of Technology. Robert's advice to incoming freshmen is to be kind to one another #BPatriotProud

🎓 TOP 2️⃣5️⃣ OF 2025 | At number 3 is Wren Bigelow! Wren was active in student government (serving as secretary the past two years), Gender and Sexuality Alliance Club, Newspaper Club, Tri-M Honor Society, and many of our choruses. After graduation, they will be studying sociology, sexuality, and women's studies.
Wren's advice to incoming freshmen is to try not to overwhelm yourself with schoolwork, work, and extracurriculars. Make sure to join clubs and music! #BPatriotProud


🎓 TOP 2️⃣5️⃣ OF 2025 | At number 4 is Alex Lisio! Alex was member of the soccer and lacrosse teams, and also was a member of National Junior Honors Society. After graduation, Alex will be attending @sunybroomecc to study business administration. #BPatriotProud

🚒 | Pre-K students had some special visitors last week! Our littlest Patriots got to learn more about firefighters, see some of their equipment, and even got to sit in the big firetrucks! 😊 #BPatriotProud







💰 | Binghamton High School Visions FCU interns recently participated in the credit union's Financial Wellness Intern Capstone Contest. Students were tasked with creating a new product or service - BHS interns created a savings product called Share the Wealth, a program that earns you money when you refer your friends! Binghamton placed second in the contest - congratulations! #BPatriotProud


🎓 TOP 2️⃣5️⃣ OF 2025 | At number 5 is Charlie Ostrander! Charlie was a member of the Orchestra and Steel Drum Band, along with Tri-M Honor Society, French Club, board member of the Binghamton Philharmonic Orchestra, vice president of the Gender and Sexuality Alliance Club, and co-stage manager of this past fall's production of "12 Angry Jurors".
After graduation, he'll be going to Middlebury College to pursue a degree in translation and interpretation. Charlie's advice to incoming freshmen is to take electives you find interesting, because they can become your favorite part of the day! #BPatriotProud


👯 | When they're not competing, they're using their talents to give back! This weekend, BHS Competitive Dancers shared the routine they'll perform at July's WORLD CHAMPIONSHIPS with residents at Bridgewater Nursing & Rehabilitation Center. They wowed the crowd - as always! #BPatriotProud


⚾ | Play ball! Before the Binghamton Rumble Ponies Friday evening game, 90 elementary students from all seven elementary schools performed the Star Spangled Banner under the direction of Robert Crissman, Andrew Garrett, Elise Hoerbelt, and Beth Shanfelt... and they did an amazing job! #BPatriotProud
