After pitting their minds against teams from all over the world, a Binghamton High School freshman is returning to the Southern Tier with a bit of silverware!
Dolly Murphy headed out to East Lansing, Michigan with the American Civic Association's team for the Odyssey Of The Mind World Finals.
The team, which is comprised of students from multiple Broome County Schools, competed against schools from across the United States and countries like Poland, Mexico, China, and South Korea. They finished in third place overall in their category!
It was a fantastic performance by a team where four of them were brand-new to Odyssey Of The Mind, and who were all juggling OM with school and sports.
