Students from across the Binghamton City School District were recently selected among the best musicians in the County! Over these few weeks, dozens of our musicians across all ten schools are being recognized for their skill.
30 students performed this past weekend at the first of three BCMEA Festivals at Binghamton University’s Anderson Center. Following an audition in December, the student musicians spent extra time outside their normal music classes and rehearsals to prepare for the festival. These students are under the instruction of Christine Ryder (WMS/EMS), Joel Smales (BHS), Laura Hine (MacArthur Elementary/WMS), Joe Isom (EMS), and Amanda Schmitz (Roosevelt).
