More than a dozen Binghamton High School students are being recognized for their work in project-based, high-tech learning environments through the P-TECH program.
During the P-TECH celebration on June 5, eight students were honored for graduating the program, and another six students for achieving an associate degree from SUNY Broome.
BHS freshman Evalise Negron was also named a “Rising Star in the P-TECH program. One of Evalise’s teachers, Dylan Brolly, gave a short speech before presenting the award. Additionally, BCSD P-TECH Coordinator Jacqueline Scallan was named an Outstanding K-12 Education Partner during the event.
