Fourth graders at Horace Mann Elementary helped bring history to life with their “Museum of Living Portraits” exhibit. Each student was able to choose a historical figure for a biography project, and then act out their character.

“The students have been researching about someone who was inspirational to them, and then we create a little speech, and they create a poster, and this gives them the opportunity to share what they’ve learned with the school, their parents, and other staff members,” explained fourth-grade teacher Karen Zetzsche

Educators say the event is in its second year and that it’s a unique way for the students to have some fun while learning. Watch the story on WBNG.
