Free Meal Distribution for 2020-2021
Posted on 09/24/2020
The Binghamton City School District’s goal is to ensure that all students have access to breakfast and lunch in a safe environment. In order to achieve our goal, we have made the following plans, in conjunction with our district administration and local health authorities, effective Monday, Oct. 5, 2020.

Menus
The menus for all meals will be available on the Binghamton City School District website, Rock on Café website and also on the My School Menus app.
Please note: Menus are subject to change.

Location and Schedule of Meals
Elementary schools will have breakfast served in the classroom. Lunch will be served through the cafeteria serving line while adhering to social distancing.

Middle and high schools will have a grab-and-go style breakfast. Students will be picking up their breakfast as they enter their school, and eating in their homeroom classroom. Lunch will be served through the serving line while adhering to social distancing. Lunch will be eaten in a variety of areas such as classrooms, cafeterias and alternate rooms to ensure social distancing.

Cost of Meals
Breakfast and lunch will be FREE for all students during the 2020-2021 school year.

Payment for A-la-Carte Items
Payment for a-la-carte items can be made using myschoolbucks.com, check, or cash. We strongly encourage you to prepay using myschoolbucks.com or by check.

Please note: Cash will be accepted at the registers; however, the cafeteria staff will not be able to give any cash back to students or staff. Any additional money received will be added to the student’s account and will be available the next time a student buys an item.

We will no longer be able to make change for any students or staff in the Food Service Department office located at the Binghamton High School.
