Posted on 06/18/2020

The Binghamton City School District is pleased to announce that its 2020-2021 budget passed with an approval rate of 73 percent. We'd like to thank the voters for approving our school budget, which aims to support student success and maintain strong relationships and educational opportunities. Your vote of yes helps us preserve needed positions and prevent the elimination of valued school programs.

We would also like to congratulate our newly elected board members, Timothy Ames and David Hawley. Timothy Ames was elected to a 5-year term that commences July 1, 2020. David Hawley was elected to fill the balance of an unexpired term, and will begin serving as soon as he takes his oath of office before the District Clerk.

Again, thank you for voting. We deeply appreciate your lasting support of our students and schools. For a complete list of results click here.
