International Baccalaureate Careers Certificate Program
(IBCC)

Binghamton High School was invited by the International Baccalaureate Organization to become the third school in the world to pilot the IB Career Certificate program.  IBCC combines academic, vocational and international standards into a two-year course of study for students interested in a career in technology or related fields after advancing to a two or four year college or university.

IBCC incorporates the educational principles and vision of the IB into local vocational programs, enabling students to experience and benefit from the elements of an IB education.

The IB Career Certificate program is open to any BHS student in his or her junior or senior year.  Students who are currently enrolled or are planning to enroll in either our Project Lead the Way pre-engineering program or BOCES Occupational Education programs will make excellent candidates for the IB Career Certificate program.
