Rod Serling String Quartet Perform for East and West Orchestra Students
Orchestra Students

On January 28 and 29, students in the East and West Middle School Orchestra programs enjoyed a performance by the Rod Serling String Quartet from Binghamton High School. The quartet consists of freshmen Anna Gilroy (violin), Daven Palmer (violin), Briana McKernan (viola), and Terry Larson (cello). They performed Inverno by Vivaldi, Themes from The Moldau by Smetana (arranged by Robert Frost), and It Don’t Mean a Thing (If It Ain’t Got that Swing) by Duke Ellington. At the end of the performance, the middle school students had the opportunity to ask questions about the music department as well as what the high school was like. The Rod Serling String Quartet is coached by Elizabeth Bartlett.
